Language, Art and Culture Centre is a unit of Denpasar Institute which runs International Language Courses, Translation Services and BIPA Program.

BIPA Program is designed to help Foreign Language Speakers learn Indonesian in various situations and contexts. It is designed to equip foreign students and participants with the competency of using standard Indonesian language both for academic and business purposes.

BIPA Program in Denpasar Institute is also designed to assist international students and participants to follow lectures in joint degree, double degree, or credit transfer programs conducted in Denpasar Institute or in any other institutions in Bali.

Sessions are organized twice a week, each lasting for two hours and/or depend on the mutual agreed schedule.

OUR BIPA PROGRAMs are as follows:

BIPA 1 - 50 hours Class SESSION

Upon completing BIPA 1, participants are expected to be able to understand and use contextual expressions to introduce oneself and fulfil daily routines and needs in a simple sentence construction.

BIPA 2 - 60 hours Class SESSION

Upon completing BIPA 2, participants are expected to be able to express their feelings in a simple manner, describe the surrounding environment, and communicate their daily needs and routine.

BIPA 3 - 60 hours Class SESSION

Upon completing BIPA 3, participants are expected to be able to express their experiences and plans briefly and in a coherent manner in the context of daily life and work.

BIPA 4 - 60 hours Class SESSION

Upon completing BIPA 4, participants are expected to be able to report their observations of events and express their ideas about topics in their field without obstacles that interfere with their interlocutor’s understanding.

BIPA 5 - 80 hours Class SESSION

Upon completing BIPA 5, participants are expected to be able to understand long and complex texts and express viewpoint ideas in various topics spontaneously and fluently almost without any obstacles, except in profession and academic fields.

BIPA 6 - 80 hours Class SESSION

Upon completing BIPA 6, participants are expected to be able to understand long and complex texts that contain implied meanings and express ideas in a clearer, structured, and detailed language which appropriate to speech situation for social and professional needs, except for scientific works.

BIPA 7 - 90 hours 

Upon completing BIPA 7, participants are expected to be able to understand information from nearly any field easily and express ideas fluently and accurately with the ability to discern shades of meanings and reconstruct arguments and data in a coherent presentation.

PRIVATE PROGRAM

BIPA Private Program is a one-to-one (one student, one teacher) program for students who want to have a more personalized instructional content and more flexible schedule and setting. Application for this program is open along the year and is conducted based on the mutual agreed schedule.

COOPERATION PROGRAM

Cooperation Program is based on mutual cooperation and partnership between Denpasar Institute and institutions such as government and private enterprises or organization. This program is designed to meet specific objectives of the clients.
